Orange County Educational Arts Academy, Santa Ana, CA / Mar 2011 – June 2011

Interweaved core curriculum with school-wide emphasis on performing arts while managing a heterogeneous class of thirty-two students and provided differentiated instruction to suit students’ needs.
Collaborated with Master Teacher in designing assessments to measure students’ understanding; collected and analyzed data to structure subsequent instruction.
Planned and implemented a clay sculpting lesson that incorporated Grade Four standards for Visual Arts, Writing, Social Studies, as well as Mathematics.
Designed bulletin boards to serve as a display of student work as well as reading objectives/standards covered in the unit to communicate student achievement to visiting parents and administration.
Completed class benchmark assessments, including ADEPT testing.
